As per the Alberta Libraries Act, legislated by Alberta Municipal Affairs, Public Libraries Services branch,  Section 11 (AR141/98 s15; 172/2007), "A community board shall annually complete and file with the Minister a report in a form and containing the information required by the Minister.”

The Public Library Services section of Alberta Municipal Affairs uses the information from the annual Reports to compile a provincial directory of public libraries, to produce Public Library Statistics annually, to produce mailing lists and to determine compliance with provincial library legislation and regulations. The deadline for completion of the Annual Report has yet to be set.
Yellowhead Regional Library provides an annual drop-in workshop in January to assist our member libraries to complete the Annual Report Form.

2011 Annual Report and 2012 Annual Survey Information

The 2012 Annual Survey & 2011 Annual Report of Public Libraries, and grant application forms are now available now!
This report is now available to you as an online webform.  If you have any questions, have not received your username and password or require any assistance at all, please contact Kristin ext. 267.
 
 In order to be considered eligible for provincial funding, library boards must complete and submit this report by February 29, 2012.

Please be sure to get your documentation in on time.  Failure to do so will result in significant delays in the processing of your library board's grant application.

Annual Report 2012

The ‘Annual Report’ custom report is available in Polaris and contains all the information available within Polaris as it pertains to the annual report.
Note: Polaris is only capable of counting current patrons – a version of this report ran for you on January 1, 2012 was emailed to each YRL library manager.
 
To un-gray the fields where you enter your responses, choose Library and Location again from the drop-down menu at the top of the LibPAS form.
