The video game kits are available for use within the library and must be overseen by a library staff member.  Each kit contains a gaming console, game sensor, power cord and power supply cord, AV cable, one wireless controller, instruction manual and 4 games.  The kits have been created in order for YRL member libraries to hold programming events in their library such as a gaming night and are not to be loaned to patrons for home use.

Xbox 360 Kinect Kit 1 - features the following games – Dance Central, Kinect Adventures, Michael Jackson: the Experience, Kinect Sports 1

Xbox 360 Kinect Kit 2 – features the following games – Kinectimals, Kinect Sports 1, Kinect Adventures, Wipeout in the Zone

Xbox 360 Kinect Kit 3 – features the following games – Kinect Adventures, Carnival games: Monkey see, Monkey do, Game Party in Motion, Kinect Sports 1

Requesting Procedures

       To book a Video Game Kit, phone, fax or email requests to YRL.
        Indicate in your email if you wish a specific kit by giving the kit number.
        If you do not care which kit you receive, please indicate “any kit available”.

•  Kits can be booked up to 1 month in advance.
•  Video Game kits are on loan for 21 days.
• There is a limit of one kit per library per month.

Receiving Procedures

•  Kits are sent via the YRL Delivery System & will arrive on your regularly scheduled van run.
•  Kits are signed out in Polaris to your member library
•  Kits arrive in large plastic tub with two cable ties to hold the lid in place.
•  Set up Video Game kit before event and confirm all parts are working.  If some piece is missing or damaged, please contact YRL      
• When Kit is in use, please ensure that library staff is monitoring the use of the kit to ensure that damage or theft is not an issue.
• Xbox LIVE NOTE: Due to security restrictions, you will not be able to connect to Xbox Live to download games. 

Returning Procedures

• Please make sure to return Video Game kits when they are due. 
• Late returns result in delays for other libraries wanting to borrow kits.
• Please be considerate of others and conscious of loan periods.
• There is a contents list in every kit.  Please check the list as you repack the kit carefully to ensure you return all the pieces of the kit. 
• If you are on Polaris, please check-in the kit and a detailed contents note will require you to check the contents of the kit. 
   
  YRL is responsible for normal wear and tear of these kits. 
  However, any damage or loss of part or all of the kit will require that theborrowing  library will be invoiced by YRL for the loss or damage.
