Conferences

Yellowhead Regional Library is proud to present conferences for our public and school member library staff. These one-day events offer a variety of speakers covering topical issues in libraries today, a vendor display to introduce new library books and products to participants, and a chance to network with colleagues and Yellowhead staff. We strive to offer programs that will inform and inspire our members as well as offering a chance to get together with library friends and colleagues, share experiences and expertise, and of course to have a bit of fun.

Please note: Due to the migration to Polaris Integrated Library System and the anticipated training needs of our member libraries, there will not be a Conference held in 2009.

Workshops

Yellowhead Regional Library Staff are pleased to offer workshops on a variety of topics from technology training to library management skills.  Workshops can be held in your library or at Yellowhead Regional Headquarters.  We offer a variety of regular annual workshops such as the Annual Report Workshop, Summer Reading Program Workshop, and our Technology Day.  We are also pleased to offer seminars by specific request.  We endeavor to provide a range of topics to meet training and informational needs of our members.  Please contact us for more information.
